¡The Sun Is Out and So Is Our Spanish Spirit!

The sun is out and the spirits are high—everyone seems to feel a little bit Spanish these days!

At Ole Spanish, our wonderful teachers are working hard preparing student reports and getting ready for our fun-filled Summer Workshops for children. If you are an adult learner, do check with your teacher—our Holiday Programes are perfect for brushing up on your Spanish before you travel to Spain or any other Spanish-speaking country.

Forget relying on translation apps—whether you are heading north, south, east, or west of Spain, each region has its own unique expressions and culture. Why not dive into the real language of the locals? And if your travels take you further afield—perhaps to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu, to enjoy some delicious Venezuelan arepas, or to explore the vibrant city of Buenos Aires—we have the tools to help you sound like a native wherever you go.

Spanish at Hadley Wood Primary

On 20th June, we had the pleasure of running Spanish workshops for all the children at Hadley Wood Primary School. We have been running an after-school club there since 2014, and it was a joy to be invited by the lovely Spanish Coordinator, Ms Bassili, to deliver a special lesson to every year group.

It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces from our club, along with new students enthusiastically speaking, reading, and singing in Spanish. One of the proudest moments of the day was hearing everyone sing:

🎶 "Llena tu nevera, con kilos de peras..."

If you would like us to deliver a similar workshop at your school, we would be delighted to do so. Simply email us at admin@olespanish.net for more information.

Join Us: Fundraiser at the Spanish School in Portobello – 5th July

On Saturday 5th July, the entire Ole Spanish team will gather at the Spanish School "Cañada Blanch" in Portobello for a special fundraising event.

We are coming together under the theme "Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo" (Only the people can save the people) to raise funds for those affected by the devastating gota fría floods in Valencia last October—many of whom are still waiting for help.

There will be paella, drinks, and a full day of Spanish culture, music, and fun. If you are in the area, come and say “¡Hola!” to your teachers and enjoy a wonderful celebration of Spanish community spirit. You can still buy your tickets on

See you this summer—¡hasta pronto!
