One Week to Remember!

Assembly about Córdoba at St Monica's RC Primary School, Southgate

What a bustling week it's been at Olé Spanish! While the holiday spirit fills the air, our office is abuzz with preparations for both the end of this term and the start of the next. Our dedicated teachers are diligently crafting interim reports, and in our meetings, we're thrilled to discuss the rapid progress of our students. We're especially delighted by the younger ones who have been impressing us with their reading from the book "Tato, el Gato con Zapatos" and their delightful pronunciation. Our teenage students, gearing up for their GCSEs and A-Levels, are also on track and confident that with our support, they'll achieve the grades they truly deserve. Our expertise lies in guiding our students to those top grades!

Keep an eye out for upcoming social events; we'll be heading out for drinks with our adult students soon!

Last Friday, on the 24th, Maria Torres, our esteemed Founder and Director deeply involved with all our schools, presented an engaging Assembly about Córdoba, her hometown, to the children of St Monica’s Catholic School in Southgate. The children actively participated, delving into the secrets and hidden mysteries of this ancient city!

An event for the whole family
Children and parents dancing flamencon

Then, on Saturday the 25th of November, our highly anticipated Flamenco Evening lit up Southgate! Teaming up with London's finest Flamenco Company, "Identidades Flamencas," we were treated to a breathtaking show. As the performance concluded, the majority of the audience joined us in dancing a bit of flamenco, guided by a professional "Bailaora." Children attending the event had a blast taking the stage, dancing, playing, and relishing in delicious treats! Sangria, tapas, and more adorned the evening, making it an utterly unforgettable night! We also celebrated a few winners who walked away with prizes including Spanish lessons, Cava, and books!

This year, we've launched our Christmas Card Competition across all our schools in London and Greater London (with thousands of students!). From this vast pool of talent, we'll select a visually appealing card created by one of our pupils to extend holiday wishes to all our valued clients. Stay tuned; it might just be your child’s artwork that graces our holiday greetings!
